The 150th annual appropriation for the conduct of the war, voted by the Assembly.

Voted on 1 February 1997, 2.8 per cent against the appropriation for 1996 (143,092,891 marka). The first appropriation, in 1848, was 549,263 marka.
1. The appropriation is voted in a single sum and administered by the War Ministry. 2. It is the first business of the session. 3. It has passed without a dissenting voice in every year since the first vote, as is customary for measures concerning the Line. 4. The sum is charged to the general revenue.

The Annual War Appropriation for 1997, 147,139,518 marka, passes the Assembly 63 to 0, the first business of the session. Report of the vote. Sixty-three members voted for the appropriation and none against. The Speaker declared it carried and the House proceeded.
